Render Plus consists of the original, and current developers of ARRIS CAD. Render Plus Systems also develops 3D CAD Applications, and add-ons and plug-ins for SketchUp. These include IRender, RPS 3D PDF, and RPS Space Design.

Al Hart started developing SigmaGraphics (later renamed to ARRIS) in 1978. (Sigma Design had been founded in 1975 to develop and market Fire Protection Software. Originally Developed as "SigmaGraphics by Sigma Design, Ltd.", ARRIS was the first micro-processor based CAD System.

In 1987, Render Plus, (then called ARITEK), branched off and developed add-on applications for ARRIS CAD. After developing more than 20 add-on applications, Render Plus started developing stand-alone applications, which did not require an underlying CAD system (such as ARRIS or AutoCAD).

These add-on applications included Giza, for Office Furniture layout, and other landscaping and home-building applications sold by Planix (a division of Softdesk), and Eagle Point.
