After seeing the online tutorial about area calculation I was a bit disappointed.
The presenter is constantly talking about "roughly" sq ... So I started testing and the sq xx indeed are "roughly". There is no way to measure exactly, I find this very degrading eZ. Also the areas aren't right if you measure in a metric .hpg file. The delimiter is 1 space to the left.

Another thing: how can you view layout sheets which are in a dwg? Printing is a bit difficult this way, not to mention leaving printing margins out, etc.

I agree with AndyH that if you are explicitly using the free version, there shouldn't be a tray icon and all these firewall questions about acting as a server and connections to the internet.

So still some things to do before final stage :)

I thought the presenter was using a snap on the on-line presentation, so I was a little disappointed, but for what eZ is for, I think it's okay as long as you don't go beyond one decimal place on the labels (nearest half a s.f. is okay).
Carrying four decimal points would seem pretty silly.
